How Much Does an LED Video Wall Cost in the UK?
The Honest 2026 Price Guide — From £1,788 to Six Figures, Explained
The most common question we receive at Khazina Digital is also the most frustrated: "Why won't anyone just tell me what an LED video wall costs?" Most UK suppliers hide their prices behind a quote form. The reason is simple — LED video wall pricing genuinely varies enormously depending on pixel pitch, screen size, environment and installation. But that is not a reason to hide prices. It is a reason to explain them properly. This guide does exactly that. Every number here is real. Every range is based on actual UK product pricing and verified installation data. No estimates. No "from" figures that turn out to be inaccessible. Straight answers.
Before we go further, one important clarification. In this guide, "LED video wall" refers to Direct View LED (DV-LED) — modular panels where the LEDs themselves form the display surface with no LCD panel in between. This is different from LCD video walls, which are arrays of LCD monitors. The two technologies are covered separately in our DV-LED vs LCD comparison guide. The prices here are for DV-LED only.
The Two Variables That Drive Every Price
Before we get to the numbers, you need to understand what drives LED video wall pricing. There are two primary variables. Get these wrong and no price guide will help you budget accurately.
Variable 1: Pixel Pitch
Pixel pitch is the distance in millimetres between each LED pixel. P1.8 means 1.8mm between pixels. P2.5 means 2.5mm. The smaller the number, the higher the resolution — and the higher the cost. A P1.8 panel costs approximately 60–80% more per square metre than a P2.5 panel of the same size. Choosing P1.8 when P2.5 is sufficient for your viewing distance is the single most common budgeting error in UK LED wall projects.
Variable 2: Screen Area
DV-LED is modular — you are buying panels and tiling them together. The total area is the most direct pricing driver. However, larger installations do not scale proportionally: the video processor, installation labour and project management are fixed costs that get spread across more panels, so cost-per-square-metre decreases slightly at scale. A 5m × 3m wall will not cost three times a 5m × 1m wall — it will cost roughly 1.8–2× as much.
"Choosing P1.8 when P2.5 is sufficient is the single most common budgeting error in UK LED wall projects."

What Else Do You Pay For?
The hardware price is only part of the total investment. For most projects, additional costs include:
🔧 Installation
For a wall-mounted indoor installation, expect 15–30% of the hardware cost. A structural assessment of the mounting surface is typically required for larger walls. Freestanding DV-LED totems require no installation — they arrive ready to position and power on.
🎛️ Video Processor
A video processor (such as Novastar) sits between your content source and the LED panels, handling signal routing, resolution scaling and colour calibration. For pre-configured packages, this is included. For custom-size walls, this is typically a separate line item.
💾 Content Management
All screens work via USB plug-and-play from day one. Remote content management — updating from any device — requires adding MySignagePortal (£120/yr standard) or upgrading to CleverPosters CMS (£120/yr, recommended for its scheduling and Canva integration).
🏗️ Structural Work
Larger walls may require wall reinforcement or a dedicated mounting structure. Power supply upgrades may be needed for walls exceeding certain wattage. For outdoor installations, weatherproof cable management and structural engineering are additional requirements.
Is an LED Video Wall Actually Cheaper than an LCD Over Time?
Almost always, yes — over a 7–10 year period. Here is why. An LCD video wall panel has a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours. At 12 hours per day of business use, that is approximately 11 years — but in reality, LCD panels are typically replaced every 3–5 years due to backlight degradation and colour shift between panels. Each replacement cycle is a significant cost, and colour-matching replacement panels to existing ones is notoriously difficult.
A DV-LED wall has a rated lifespan of 100,000 hours — roughly 23 years at 12 hours per day. Individual modules can be replaced without touching the rest of the wall. Replacement modules are batch-matched, so colour uniformity is maintained across the entire wall throughout its life. No full replacement cycles. No colour drift. No visible joins developing over time.
DV-LED costs more upfront. But over the lifespan of the installation, the total investment is typically lower — and the visual quality never degrades the way LCD does.
What Do You Actually Get at Each Price Point?
Numbers without context are meaningless. Here is what each price bracket delivers in practice for a UK business:
A small to medium indoor wall-mounted display for a retail counter, reception feature, showroom or meeting room background. P2.5 pixel pitch, seamless bezel-free image, suitable from 2.5m viewing distance. At this price point you are getting a properly configured pre-packaged solution — modules, controller, mounting rails — and the free animated design. Not a full flagship retail installation, but a genuinely impactful display for a focused space.
At this level you are into DV-LED freestanding totems — mobile, repositionable, no wall drilling — and the higher-specification indoor panels including GOB (impact-resistant) variants and high-brightness P2.5 panels for window-facing installations. Ideal for retail floors, gym reception areas, automotive showrooms, events and high-footfall public environments. The freestanding totem at £4,210.70 is one of the most versatile products in the range.
This budget covers the transparent DV-LED totems (from £9,950) — floating-image technology that is unlike anything else on a high street — and the entry point for all-in-one 116"+ pre-configured giant displays (from £16,150). Both are statement investments for premium retail, luxury automotive, hospitality destinations and large corporate atriums. You are no longer buying a screen — you are buying a centrepiece.
Large-format custom walls — multiple panels configured to any width and height — for shopping centre atriums, flagship retail destinations, corporate headquarters reception features and large-scale outdoor installations. At this level the price is truly bespoke to the project: panel count, pixel pitch, structural engineering, video processor specification, installation complexity and project management all contribute. "The price range from £1,788 to £100,000+ reflects entirely different products and project scales — not just margin differences between suppliers."
Why Do Quotes from Different Suppliers Vary So Much?
If you have requested quotes from multiple LED wall suppliers, you have likely received figures that are wildly different for what sounds like the same product. This is not necessarily dishonesty — it reflects several legitimate variables that are frequently handled differently between suppliers:
Pixel pitch inconsistency. One supplier quotes P2.5; another quotes P1.8. Both are "LED video walls" but the P1.8 will be 60–80% more expensive per square metre. Always confirm the pixel pitch in writing.
Inclusive vs exclusive of processor. Some quotes include the video processor (Novastar or equivalent). Others quote hardware only. The processor is not optional — it is how the panels actually function together. A quote that excludes it is not complete.
Installation included vs excluded. Some quotes include installation at a fixed rate. Others are supply-only. Always confirm whether installation, commissioning and a post-installation calibration visit are included.
LED panel quality. Not all P2.5 panels are equal. Panels from different LED chip manufacturers carry significantly different brightness uniformity ratings, lifespan guarantees and failure rates. Cheap panels that look the same on a spec sheet can look very different after 12 months of operation. Ask for the LED chip manufacturer and the colour binning specification.
Q. How much does an LED video wall cost in the UK?
Khazina Digital's DV-LED range starts from £1,788+VAT for indoor P1.8/P2.5 panels. Freestanding DV-LED totems from £4,210.70+VAT. Transparent LED totems from £9,950+VAT. All-in-one 116"–231" displays from £16,150+VAT. Outdoor weatherproof P4/P6 from £2,096+VAT. All prices supply-only and exclude VAT.
Q. What is the cheapest DV-LED video wall in the UK?
The entry point for a commercial DV-LED wall from Khazina Digital is £1,788+VAT for a pre-configured indoor P1.8/P2.5 package. This includes the LED modules, mounting hardware and LED controller. Be cautious of lower prices — below this level you are typically looking at consumer-grade products not rated for commercial continuous use.
Q. Why do LED video wall prices vary so much between suppliers?
Pixel pitch differences, inclusion/exclusion of the video processor, whether installation is included, and underlying LED panel quality. Always confirm all four before comparing quotes. A £5,000 P1.8 quote and a £5,000 P2.5 quote are not comparable products.
Q. Is an LED video wall cheaper than an LCD over time?
Almost always yes, over 7–10 years. DV-LED has a 100,000-hour lifespan vs 50,000 for LCD. No panel replacement cycles (LCD panels need replacing every 3–5 years in commercial use). Individual module replacement on DV-LED is inexpensive. Lower long-term energy costs on modern DV-LED panels. The higher upfront investment pays back over the lifespan.
Q. Does installation cost extra for a DV-LED video wall?
Yes, for wall-mounted installations. Expect to add 15–30% of the hardware cost for a standard indoor wall-mounted installation. Freestanding DV-LED totems require no installation — they arrive ready to position and power on.
